About the Role

Do you have previous experience in security technical project management and are interested in working in a large organization that is purposefully investing in the technical area?

At Securitas, we are currently looking for a market-oriented project manager for Jönköping with a work area that extends over Jönköping and Höglandet. Our current project manager will be further developed within the company, so we are now looking for a replacement for the role.

You will work with the development of technical security solutions, calculations, procurement with tender documents, and related services, as well as ensuring and quality assuring the projects that are carried out. All projects and installations are coordinated with our selected subcontractors, which means a broad network with good product knowledge of the market's various systems.

You plan your days independently and are offered a great deal of freedom and responsibility - which requires good self-leadership at the core.

We believe that you thrive and perform best when you can combine your technical expertise with supporting our sales organization to optimize customer conditions. You collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and from there develop accurate technical solutions.

In this part of Region Mitt, there are currently several colleagues working with technology in various forms, who look forward to expanding their team with another colleague! You report directly to Department Manager Mattias Rang.

The role offers you responsibility for;

• working in a very close team both with the sales organization and towards the customer, as well as providing technical expertise both internally and externally.
• participating in project deliveries and ensuring that the solution is implemented according to design
• ensuring good economy and quality in our deliveries
• developing business proposals, quotes, and tenders.
• specifying requirements and procuring subcontractors for both installations and services
• establishing project, time, work environment, and quality plans

Requirements Specification

Your responsibility is to ensure that the technical security solutions and services that Securitas delivers align with - or exceed - customer expectations. Therefore, we want you to have a technical education and industry experience in security technology. You have good and broad product knowledge with several years of experience in security issues. You also have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

Requirements

• Experience from the security industry in roles such as project manager, technician, salesperson, or other experience that Securitas assesses as equivalent
• Experience in project design and calculation
• Technical education at least at the high school level (or assessed by us as equivalent)
• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Project management experience in contracting
• Authorized engineer in burglary, fire, and/or CCTV
• Experience in procurement and/or contract law
• Knowledge of networks and IT platforms
• Experience as a designer
• Experience in leading groups – either as a project manager, supervisor, or similar

As a person, you have the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and adaptively to different target groups. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and see opportunities where others see problems. Your strong communication skills ensure that you reach out whether you work independently or in a team. You enjoy taking responsibility but also appreciate collaboration to achieve common goals. Even in a daily routine with many parallel projects, you manage to maintain structure and work methodically.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Security Companies, Unionen, and Leaders.
